Last Christmas!
Aklan, Boracay
Its been a year since we had our Christmas vacation at Aklan, Boracay. I was really excited because I never expected that my uncle would treat us to go there. Boracay is one of the most visited tourists spots here in the Philippines due to its famous powdery white sand beaches. I was just 8 when I first witnessed the beauty of the Island. It was not that crowded and industrialized yet and it was really a virgin beach as far as I remember. However, last December 2014, when we went back, there were a lot of establishments already. There's sbarro, starbucks, johnny rockets and even mcdonalds. There are a lot of affordable resorts that you could check-in and restaurants to eat at. You could find 500php per night if you're not really there for the best accommodation yet the best experience in the Island, it could be fine. You just got to be wise in choosing. We stayed there for 5 days with my relatives and suddenly some days were sort of rainy therefore its high tied. Honestly, I was disappointed regarding how they were not able to maintain the purity of the Island as it used to before. You could see garbage and mendicants near the shore. One time, when me and my cousins were at the beach, we saw someone who took a bath with a shampoo and yet he just leave it there! Like it was really so disgusting!
Further, I could say that the best station is 2 but station 1 is the uncrowded one because 5 star resorts are there. Many tourist guide will accommodate you for other activities that you could enjoy like 500php for each activities(the cheapest I knew). At night, there's a lot of bars to party at and mostly have fire dance show. I also got a chance to jam on stage with the band at boracay uptown and it was great! During Christmas Eve, they had a fireworks display, promos and special shows in different restos. After all, It was fun and I missed the paradise. Looking forward to come back soon.

New Year's Eve
La Luz Resort
San Juan, Batangas
It is indeed my first time to spend holidays at the beach and I still have a hangover at our boracay trip. By this time, we planned to spend New Year's Eve in San Juan, Batangas. It was an overnight stay and the service was really good and a bit of budget friendly. They offer a lot of activities such as beach volleyball, Snorkelling, board games, biking, kayaking, banana boat and more. If you just wanted to relax and chill, you could have a body massage or rather stay at the cabana. The food they serve was great especially in our media noche and it was a buffet. Lastly, although it was really cold, we enjoyed the fireworks display with unlimited champagne.
